The brownies look and sound awesome! I have to give the recipe a try. I loved getting Andes mints as a kid but haven't had them in a long time. I didn't even know they made chips.

You're welcome! I knew the non-high fructose stuff existed, but I didn't know where to get it, so I was thrilled when it showed up somewhere that I regularly shop.

Those brownies look wonderful. Thanks for so many tips, especially about the existence of corn syrup that was not the mad scientist high fructose corn syrup. That's something I've been wondering about for a while. I love the idea of the Irish Cream icing. That is my favorite liquer.

Wow, what a great comment to wake up to! Glad you liked the post! I think anyone who made the brownies both ways--once with the correct procedure and once without--would come by enough enthusiasm on their own. The shiny crust really seems magical!

Thank you so much for your post about our King Arthur Flour products and recipe procedure.....we loved it. Only wish we could clone your enthusiasm for the procedure part of this recipe which gives the top brownie crust - and for the part about waiting until the next day to get the fudgy brownie most people strive for! These two steps are important for those picture perfect brownies. Congratulations on your terrific site that is an inspiration!
